AirTran Airways embraces rapidly growing Hispanic segment
June 10, 2008
AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, recently launched a Spanish-language version of airtran.com. The Spanish version, accessible by clicking español on the airtran.com homepage, contains all the content and functionality of the English-language version.
“AirTran Airways takes pride in making the booking and travel experience fast and easy for all of our customers,” said Tad Hutcheson, vice president of marketing and sales for AirTran Airways. “We recently began flying to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and in our increasingly multicultural country, we realize that many of our passengers in the mainland United States are native Spanish speakers. We chose to implement a Spanish version of our website in order to provide customized service to all of our passengers, regardless of which language they prefer.”
AirTran Airways, a Fortune 1000 company ranked number one in the 2007 Airline Quality Rating study, is one of America’s largest low-fare airlines and offers quality jet service with over 700 daily flights to 58 destinations.
