MotionPoint, a leader in technology and services for website translation, localization and optimization, announced today that Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) has launched its website in Spanish using MotionPoint’s solution.
The site will help WWP, a charitable organization that offers a wide variety of programs, services and events for wounded U.S. veterans, to better reach Spanish-speaking veterans, donors and the U.S. Hispanic community at large.
WWP selected MotionPoint’s fully turn-key website localization solution to translate, deploy and operate the multilingual site.
“Many Spanish-speaking veterans prefer to communicate in Spanish, so having access to our organization’s services in their preferred language is very helpful to them,” said Ayla Tezel, WWP warrior support communications. “We’ve also expanded our outreach to Puerto Rico and other locations with a high concentration of Spanish-speaking warriors, so we’re able to communicate about the programs and services available to them in their language of choice.”
WWP has also expanded its efforts with Spanish language public service announcements, to include Spanish-speaking spots airing across the country.
“We’re proud to work with Wounded Warrior Project to help it reach U.S. Hispanic veterans,” said Craig Witt, executive vice president at MotionPoint. “As the U.S. Hispanic population continues to grow and thrive, organizations would be smart to follow WWP’s example.”
