We didn't want our story to be diluted in any way because of the translation quality wasn't up to par of where we were at

Employees Start Translating Digital Content
Aventa began leveraging their workers’ fluency in Spanish to translate English content for their website. However, they soon faced three obstacles. First, their employees’ jobs got harder. Second, employees that knew Spanish didn’t all know the same type of Spanish. Aventa knew what country their growing members originated from and needed their translation to reflect that. This led to inconsistent messaging and translation which impacted their brand and offering. Lastly, Aventa’s marketing team featured only one website manager that couldn’t efficiently manage the volume of manual translation work it required.
“Our team was too busy with their everyday work for us to constantly be putting more on them, and we really needed to be more consistent,” stated Tina Mayne, VP of Projects & Integrations.
In early 2021, Aventa planned to roll out a rebranding effort. It was the perfect time to search for a hands-off translation solution that would streamline their team’s translation workload.
After searching through translation providers, the Aventa team realized there weren’t many robust technologies that could accurately translate their brand, services, or offerings.
“We didn’t want our story to be diluted in any way because of the translation quality wasn’t up to par of where we were at,” mentioned Tina.
Aventa’s CEO, Greg Mills, heard of MotionPoint from contacts at other credit unions that utilized MotionPoint’s effortless translation solution. After meeting with translation experts, Aventa realized MotionPoint offered much more than a simple “toggle-to-translate” option—they offered a complete in-language experience throughout all digital channels, which included the website.
Yet, the deciding factor was MotionPoint’s ability to localize translations into specific versions of Spanish. Their growing members mostly spoke Mexican Spanish and Aventa loved that MotionPoint could localize their content into any specific variant of Spanish they needed.
Outcome
Robust Support for Localization Needs:
Upon meeting with MotionPoint’s translation experts and solution engineers, Aventa’s executive team realized the potential that their technology offered—efficient workflows, fast translation turnaround and accurate localization that wouldn’t compromise their story.
With a suite of translation solutions: translation connectors, reverse-proxy, and web plugins, the localization of their content would be hands-off and completely effortless.
Now, new content is easily and rapidly localized into Spanish and published on Aventa’s digital channels in less than a day with little to no work required from them.
